Darcelle was trained in the Lower Mainland, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and Hawaii. She has won numerous awards and scholarships and is the Sr. Tap, Stage & Jazz Provincial winner of the first BC Festival of the Arts. Darcelle choreographed and performed in many stage and fashion shows and appeared in commercials, film and tv. She co-hosted the national television series “Going Great” with Keanu Reeves and Chris Makepeace. Darcelle has been teaching for over 25 years and has adjudicated several dance competitions in BC. While maintaining her involvement in the arts, Darcelle obtained her BSc from SFU and her MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
Terri-Lynne's extensive training includes the NationalBalletSchool, RoyalWinipegBalletSchool and the Banff School of Fine Arts. She has danced professionally with the Pacific Ballet Theatre Company, adjudicated and taught numerous workshops. Terri-Lynne has been teaching for over 25 years and holds her Diploma Certificate and Fellowship Teaching Degree from the Cecchetti Society. As one of the the most qualified and respected teachers in the Cecchetti Society, Terri trains many other teachers and advanced students as they prepare for their upper level ballet exams.
Shannon is trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, contemporary, hip hop and Highland dancing. She has won numerous awards and scholarships at competitions in the Lower Mainland and in the US. She is a former Darcelle's Dancers Overall student who has been teaching at the studio for the past 12 years. Shannon has extensive performing experience and has appeared in many musical productions.
Zandrew (Sonny) is no stranger to the dance community.He has trained with PraiseTEAM, DREAM and Pure Dance . He has choreographed and taught the Dance programs at many high schools such as Princess Margaret, Fleetwood, LA Matheson & Holy Cross and has performed with artists such as Passion, producers of the Black Eyed Peas.Sonny has performed in music videos and many fashion shows including the premier "Concert Fashion".Currently Sonny focuses a lot of his time dancing, choreographing and performing with his two main crews FlowEthics and SickSTYLZ Symphony.
Amanda is trained in various forms of dance including jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, and Polynesian.She is a former Darcelle's Dancers Top Sr Dancer who has completed her Advanced One Cecchetti ballet exam. She was hired to perform this summer at the PNE in the 100 Years of Fun Parade and KC Bear's Street Party. Amanda is a student at SFU and enjoys working with younger kids.
Kirsten was chosen Darcelle's Dancers overall student last year. She has training in all forms of dance and has attended workshops in LA, New York, Royal Winniipeg Ballet and on Vancouver Island.She has completed her Intermediate Cecchetti ballet exam and is currently attending SFU in the Faculty of Business. Kirsten was excited to perform in the Opening Ceremonies for the 2010 Olympics.
